Arjun B S and Ajay Krishnan A were honoured by the Dyson India team for winning the James Dyson National Award India (2022) for their invention “EpiSHOT,” which is a reusable epinephrine auto-injector for patients suffering from a severe and potentially fatal systemic allergic reaction.    

Two project proposals, led by Arif and Sreenivas, have been shortlisted in the preliminary screening of the Scheme for Young Scientists and Technologists (SYST) 2021 program. They presented their work in Gurugram on November 9, 2022.

Dr. Hardik J. Pandya delivered an invited talk on “Towards Microengineered Devices and Systems for Translational Biomedical Research” during his visit to the School of Pharmacy, Temple University, in October 2022.  

Rathin and his team’s research on spatiotemporal analysis of interictal EEG for automated seizure detection and classification was published in Biomedical Signal Processing and Control. Arjun B S and Ajay Krishnan were awarded the prestigious James Dyson Award 2022 for their invention “EpiSHOT.” In 2022, the James Dyson Award attracted over 1600 entries globally, showcasing the talent of young minds. As the national winners for India, Arjun and Ajay received prize money of around INR 5 lakhs (roughly 5,000 GBP). […]
