Kudos to our future entrepreneurs – Ajay, Hari, and Rathin – who won the 45-day and 90-day challenges in the SmartX Health Hackathon

The BEES team, comprising Ph.D. research scholar (Rathin) and project assistants (Ajay and Hari), were awarded first runners-up in the SmartX Health Hackathon organized by Siemens and CPDMed, IISc. The team was selected for the 45-day and 90-day challenge of developing a neurotech platform to understand cognitive decline in geriatrics.

The team was declared the winner of both the 45-day challenge (November 8, 2022) and the 90-day challenge (March 3, 2023) and was invited for company incubation at CPDMed TBI with sponsorship from Siemens. The team aims to develop wearable devices for cognitive metric assessment, sensory system screening, and sleep quality improvement.
