Alekya B has been honoured with the SITARE-Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award 2021 for her project on “Microsensor Integrated Intubation Catheter for Chronic Airway Management.”

The award, presented by the Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions (SRISTI) along with BIRAC, includes a grant of Rs 15 lakh for two years for life sciences-related applications with high translational potential.
