Arjun B S was awarded the Best Poster Award at the IEEE-EMBS International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI’23) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, from October 15-18, 2023. The award was in recognition of the presentation showcasing research on Brain Biopsy Imaging using Electrical Impedance Tomography (BBI-EIT), a ground-breaking method for brain biopsy imaging and characterization. BBI-EIT allows for real-time and non-destructive imaging of tissue samples, enabling the mapping of tissue heterogeneity based on their unique electrical properties.
