IEEE SPS Travel Grant, ICASSP 2026: Satyapreet Singh Yadav received a competitive IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Travel Grant to attend the IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP) 2026, held in Barcelona, Spain (4–8 May 2026), where she will present the paper titled “Asynchronous High-Speed Tracking of Astronomical Objects Using Neuromorphic Camera for Edge Computing.”

Hackathon Winners, HeiChips Workshop 2025: The NeuRonICs Lab team comprising Shankaranarayanan, Ketan, and Guha won the hackathon at the HeiChips Workshop 2025 held at Heidelberg University, Germany.

IEEE TCAS-I Highlight of the Month, May 2024: The paper “ARYABHAT: A Digital-Like Field Programmable Analog Computing Array for Edge AI” was selected as the Highlight of the Month by IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers.

Best Student Presentation Award, IEEE EDTM Student Research Forum 2024: Ankita Nandi received the Best Student Presentation Award at the Student Research Forum of the 8th IEEE Electron Devices Technology and Manufacturing (EDTM) Conference held in Bangalore, India.
Presentation Title: “Advancing Analog Computing through Bias and Process Technology Scalable Analog Standard Cells.”

Ph.D. Forum Award, VLSID 2024: Madhuvanthi Srivatsav R received the Ph.D. Forum Award for the poster presentation titled “Processing-in-Interconnect Inspired by Dendritic Computation.”

IC Chip Design Contest Award, VLSID 2024: Awarded for the project “ARYABHAT (Analog Reconfigurable technologY and Bias-scalable Hardware for AI Tasks).”
Team: Chetan Singh Thakur, Shantanu Chakrabartty, Pratik Kumar, Ankita Nandi (Presenter), Ayan Saha, and Kurupati Sai Pruthvi Teja.

Design Contest Award, VLSID 2024: Awarded for the project “Audio Keyword Detection Using Neuromorphic Cochlea,” which included a live demonstration.
Team: Ashwin Rajesh (Presenter), Venkata Likhith L (Intern, IIITDM Kancheepuram), and Shanmuga Sai Badrinatha Reddy Bana (Intern, IIITDM Kancheepuram).

Runner-Up Demo Award, IEEE APCCAS 2023: The NeuRonICs Lab team working on the RAMAN Project received the Runner-Up Award for the demonstration titled “TinyML Acoustic Classification Using RAMAN Accelerator and Neuromorphic Cochlea.”
The team was represented at the conference by Shankaranarayanan.

Runner-Up, Student Research Forum, VLSID 2023: Pratik Kumar received the Runner-Up award in the Student Research Forum contest at the VLSID 2023 Conference.
