Alekya B was awarded the SITARE-Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award 2021 for the project titled “Microsensor Integrated Intubation Catheter for Chronic Airway Management”. The award given by Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions(SRISTI) along with BIRAC consists of Rs 15 lac for two years for life sciences-related applications having high translational potential.
