Opportunities
We are hiring! Interested candidates please write to aruppolley@iisc.ac.in.
PhD candidates: We are looking for bright, motivated candidates to join our lab.
PhD candidates interested in joining our research group in the upcoming 2024 research admission can use the following for the research committee selection:
Sub-area C3: Analog & Mixed Signal Circuits Design, Sensor Systems, Quantum Technology
We are primarily a circuits design group who are involved in the research and development of classical and quantum sensor systems. Typically, the students start with a system-level challenge and develop solutions all the way through circuit implementations and Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) design. The key challenges lie at the intersection of circuits, signal processing, device design, and applied physics.
The broad research activity areas are:
- Electronic systems design using board-level circuits, FPGA, and microcontroller
- Sensor systems
- Analog and mixed-signal Integrated Circuits
- Quantum technology
- Nanodevices
Interns: We have on-site internship positions available for a minimum duration of six months.
Position: Project Associate
Qualification: B. Tech (Electronics / ECE / EEE / Embedded Systems or related field)
Period: Minimum 6 Months (Performance Assessed) (The term can be extended based on the requirements of the Project and the performance of the candidate)
Location: Quantum-Classical Sensor Systems and Integrated Circuits Laboratory (Qu-ClaSSIC Lab), Department of Electronic Systems Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru- 560012
Date of Joining: As early as possible
