Harsha B Variar


Harsha was born in Kerala and grew up in Gujarat. She moved to Kerala where she received her bachelors in Electronics and Communication from Government Engineering College, Thrissur in 2013. After a two year career in Tata Consultancy Services, she joined Prof. Shrivastava’s group for PhD in 2015 to pursue her aspiration of doing research. She is currently studying thermal transport in nanoscale devices, which can bring new opportunities for judicious device design or material choice for proper thermal management. She is also interested in exploring 1/f noise in various device structures. Harsha is a trained classical dancer and enjoys listening to music in her spare time
