Multi-channel energy meter

Objectives

The project involves use of two 6 channel sigma delta ADC multiplexed to single SPI port to measure 3 voltages for three currents and remaining for currents. The project involves computing energy RMS current/voltage and energy accumulation. The ADC are bipolar (can read both negative and positive voltage). It can them communicate over UART very second.

Implementation

The ADC should be configured for at lest 4Ksps. Out of 12 total channel, three can be reserved for voltage and remaining for measuring current. The current measurement can be done using current transformer with shut external to the board. The chip used MCP3903 The board is designed only to measure high voltage, but current sensors can be added and the series resistors can be modified.
